Review
The first CD from the dynamic Northern Arizona based band, Danny Rhodes and the Messengers. The CD features the six songs described below, as well as four others, all written by band leader Danny Rhodes. Music lovers will delight in songs that range from the soulful plaintive cry of Man Without Love to the driving rock of River Road. Rhodes pays tribute to his Louisiana roots with title song Home Cookin' and the perils of loving a younger woman with Runaway Child. Real Party Now is a back-in-the-alley blues song in every sense of the word, while Call My Baby is feisty, uptempo, runaway train.
