The pieces utilize a variety of forms and the ensembles vary in size from a jazz quintet to a string orchestra, totaling 41 of New York City's finest musicians. Dave, a frequent winner of Most Valuable Player Awards from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, performs on alto, tenor & soprano saxophones as well as the flutes and the clarinets.
