In this collection of twelve previously unrecorded songs, LaMotte stretches beyond the limits of his earlier work, exhibiting subtlety and maturity that only come through years of dedication to the craft of writing. Recorded in Seattle with Even Brubaker in the producer's chair. Guest musicians include legendary fretless bass player Michael Manning, Fiona Apple's bassist Keith Lowe and Ani DiFranco's horn player Hans Teuber.
