Review
BEAT, a new feature starring Courtney Love and Keifer Sutherland, creates a time and place of the sixties, of the "beatnik" generation. And it portrays a story of love.
Complimenting the drama is a smoky orchestral score, utilizing small groups of instruments to fashion intimate colors. Rounding out the underscore are several great original jazz pieces.
Ernest Troost has garnered acclaim for his Emmy-winning music to "The Canterville Ghost" and for his score for the popular horror flick "Tremors." Other credits include music for HBO's "A Lesson Before Dying" and MGM's historical drama "One Man's Hero" starring Tom Berenger.
