Review

First time on CD for this classic A&M album from 1960. A collection of pop and soul songs, Evie was likened to Dusty Springfield (who described her as her favorite singer). She could have gone onto great things but decided to step down as a performer and write songs for other artists instead. As a result she is a cult figure at best. The stand-out track on the album is 'Any Way That You Want Me' which went on to become a huge hit. Rev-ola. 2005.Reissue of her Only 1960's Album Originally Released on A&m Records is Chock Full of Pop-soul Gems and Includes the Original Versions of "Take Me for a Little While" (Dusty Springfield), "i Can't Let Go", "Angel of the Morning", and "Any Way that You Want Me". Remastered, and the Booklet Includes Tons of Rare and Unpublished Photos Along with New Liner Notes.
