Sweet Spot is a diverse collection of material ranging from the title song, a beautiful tune featuring George on the tenor sax and written for his Mother, to a variation of Chopin's "Fantaisie Impromptu" and the bluesie-soul of "Bright Lights/Mama Cut Your Toenails". This great second album builds upon George's incredible performance style and ability to convey the essence of the saxophone in five original songs and features the work of keyboard/vocalist/arranger, Steven Boyd. A must have!
