"Live At NEARfest" is Glass Hammer's follow-up to the critically acclaimed DVD "Lex Live", also available on Amazon. Glass Hammer is in top form, performing selections from "Chronometree", "Perelandra," and the symphonic masterpiece, "Lex Rex." Soaring keyboards, poignant guitars, and top-notch vocals, rounded out with an 18-member chorus and a surprise guest appearance by Richard Williams of Kansas make this a one-of-a-kind live recording. The album was meticulously mixed and mastered by Steve Babb and Fred Schendel at Sound Resources to ensure maximum sound quality. In a recent Background Magazine (Holland) article, Henri Strik calls Glass Hammer's "Lex Rex" a "masterpiece", and names Glass Hammer as "America's leading prog band". 1340.mag.com names Glass Hammer as its pick for number one indie-group of the year, and the "band to watch explode in 2004".
