doug scharin (drummer for june of '44, rex, out in worship...) moves forward from the global rhythms and 4-track experiments of earlier recordings into a more layered world of dub-jazz soundscapes. with help from jeff parker (tortoise, isotope) bundy brown (pullman, directions) julie liu (rex) and rob mazurek (chicago underground) sworn eyes is melody, texture and space evoking beauty, risk and love flowing effortlessly between delays, loops, edits and natural live performance.
