Howie Beck makes his comeback backed by great press reviews and guest appearances from Feist and Ed Harcourt. Howie Beck introduces a new spaciousness and a emarkably surefooted, classic-pop polish to his music, but not at the xpense of the whispered, 4am intimacy and naked honesty that led so many to hold his previous album `Hollow' so close to their damaged hearts. Hailing from Toronto's burgeoning alternative singer-songwriter scene, this album boasts guest appearances by chums like Feist and Ed Harcourt. Not surprisingly, Jason Collett of Broken Social Scene has called on Howie's effortless production techniques for his latest solo album. Universal. 2006
