Review

This new group was formed by a former guitar-player of QUATERNA REQUIEM Junior JONES. INDEX sounds very much like that group or APOCALYPSE. The band plays Progressive rock in the classic style, in which electric and acoustic guitars always come to support the keyboards (Hammond organ and Moog). Uplifting and melodic Progressive rock, worth hearing. Their second album called "Liber Secundus" (2001) shows that those Brazilian musicians have reached a new height. Some PINK FLOYD-inspired ambiences are always present and wonderfully blend with the typical South-American symphonic style. All this also reminds of CAMEL and YES... Mainly based on the instrumental developments, this major works is also important because it includes excellent vocals (In Portuguese) on four of the seven tracks.
