Review
“Prairie Dog Ballet" is full of memorable original tunes and great jazz improv on sax, trumpet and piano. The whole band turns in a stellar performance. New tunes that could become standards. A great follow up to Jim's last CD "Washington Square Park" which placed in the 2006 INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS as a Finalist for JAZZ ALBUM OF THE YEAR and as a Finalist for JAZZ SONG OF THE YEAR.Judges for the contest included Terence Blanchard, Norah Jones, Paquito D'Rivera and other industry leaders.
