Review

Bring My Drum To England is Jon Kennedy's debut album for Grand Central, His critically acclaimed first album We're Just Waiting For You Now was released on the Brighton-based Tru Thoughts label (home to Quantic and Bonobo).

Jon Kennedy's debut album received considerable UK radio airplay with Gilles Peterson, John Peel and Jazz FM as keen supporters. Tracks from the album have appeared on compilations from Compost, Ministry of Sound, and Sony Mixmag described his debut as " top chill-out fare." His live band has performed at the influential Big Chill festival and also on Rainer Truby's show in Europe where he has a lot of support. The album features Kate Rogers from Aim fame and Karen Wilson.
