The third in Jools Holland's series of all-star compilations once again features his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra (with whom he plays over 100 s hows a year providing spirited big-band-backing for a diverse array of vocal legends slaying classic songs. Known primarily in the U.S. as Squeeze's keyboard wizard, Holland is a household name in his native Britain, both as a master musician and a top television personality. His parallel careers have introduced him to every star in the musical firmament, many of whom appear on this irrepressible album, including Smokey Robinson, Eric Clapton, David Gray, Nick Cave, Kirsty MacColl, Ringo Starr, and Peter Gabriel.
