Close Your Eyes, a carefully chosen set of lullabies, is Josephine Cameron's third and most ambitious album to date. Combining traditional songs such as "Lavender's Blue" and "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" with original songs and modern influences, she creates a dreamy, delicate sense of calm. Cameron's lyrical voice and style has been compared to Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, and The Bangles' Susanna Hoffs. This is a great album to wind down with at the end of the day.
