Review
The newest CD by award-winning composer Kurt Bestor captures the warmth, poignancy, and richness of Richard Paul Evans' latest book, The Dance. Using intimate orchestration (piano, acoustic guitar, harp, fiddle, percussion, woodwinds and string quartet), Bestor paints a memorable picture that follows the story of a young girl who dances her way from the innocence of childhood through the impetuousness of her teens to the promise of womanhood and finally, full circle, into her father's arms. The album makes an intriguing companion to Evans' prose.
