After 2 years of extensive touring with such acts as The Cult, Alice Cooper, Drowning Pool & Otep, this hard rock singer/pianist has more than held her own in hard-rock company. Lennon Murphy, named by her mother after John Lennon, has led a tragic life to be only 22 but uses her music to pound out her painful diary entries. A stunningly beautiful and gifted young Nashville native, Lennon's dark music style has been described and heralded as "rock-metal meets Fiona Apple." Full of angst-ridden lyrics over techno-riff guitars and bottom-heavy bass, Lennon timely accents her performances with piano meanderings and emotionally charged vocals.
