Featuring Jean Sablon, Jacques Douai, Germaine Montero, Colette Renard, Cora Vaucaire, Francis Lemarque and more, Les Compagnons de la Chansons were a French nine-piece novelty act. This highly popular group rocketed to stardom after being launched by Edith Piaf in the late forties. Some found Les Compagnons a little too rock'n'roll at first, but they soon won over fans across Europe!
