Review

An exciting evolution in the Connors sound, wherein Loren employs a great deal of drone and noise and sustained chords, particularly on the opening 25 minute epic "Premonition." This CD of solo electric guitar, a meditation on the infamous Lord Cromwell and the resulting 300 year occupation of Ireland, is the sound of bloodlust and loss, a tense and violent affair with only a few (brilliantly-placed) moments of catharsis.
