Raven Records have striped bare the band's first four albums of every track of consequence, thrown in rare singles b-sides and sampler LP tracks, and arrived at one of the great CD experiences of the closing moments of the twentieth century (would we lie to you?!). The anthology is jammed to the gunwales with 73 minutes of entrancing music. Its 16-page booklet is graced with informed words, highlighted by original photos and presented with tasteful artwork. LOVE COMES IN COLOURS is an anthology yardstick. From '7 AND 7 IS' to 'ALONE AGAIN OR', the complete Love experience is mapped out here. This compilation is proof, if any were needed, that Love laid a blueprint that few could follow.
