It includes all the music from the original recording: Hammer Dulcimer & Guitar-which is taditional tunes from the British Isles, Ireland and America performed on hammered dulcimer, guitar, fiddle and bodhran. Includes: Irish airs by 18th-century Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan: Si Bheag, Si Mhor and Planxty Browne; Irish Washerwoman with new variations; Greensleeves and Fingal's March on fingerstyle guitar; Dill Pickles Rag and The Poppyleaf Hornpipe.And, Hammered Dulcimer Traditions: a lively collection of jigs, reels and hornpipes from Ireland, with Scottish strathspeys, airs by Turlough O'Carolan, French-Canadian tunes, medieval and Renaissance dances and a country rag.
