Review

Passion and drive make up Minutes Too Far - Bethany, Oklahoma's power pop rock quartet. Throughout their four-year career, Minutes Too Far has proven that setting an amiable mood is just as important as being bittersweet, literate and earnest. With influences ranging from pop punk to Elton John, Minutes Too Far delivers all the rock one could wish for, yet with a smooth and seductive sound that brings to mind bands like the All-American Rejects and Fallout Boy. Reflective as they are, Danny Black (guitar, lead vocals), Blake Fischer (guitar, vocals), Steve-O (bass) and Kris Monier (drums) refrain from characteristic anthems and focus on their aesthetic live shows. Opening for national acts like Yellowcard, Fallout Boy and Motion City Soundtrack, Minutes Too Far is quickly ascending the ladder to the national limelight by wooing audiences and capturing the essence of rock and roll on stage.
