Mr. Pink's Debut CD--Red, White and Pink--blends old and new swing into an upbeat sound that lends styles from Elvis to Brian Setzer. The 11-track CD hits hard with a fast tempo from both originals and covers, like in the band's warp speed cover of "Viva Las Vegas". It's smarmier too--with the not-so-surprising subject matter of booze, broads, and boodie being amply covered.

Two tracks from Mr. Pink's debut CD, Red, White and Pink have been chosed to appear on a new swing compilation CD series entitled Ultra Swing Nouveau II (DM Records). The CD, which will include "Down to Few" and "Babylonian Babe" written by guitarist Bill Longhorse and vocalist Jefferson Stewart, will be distributed to nationwide retailers.
