Review
Without a doubt one of the most recognizable romantic voices of the 20th century, Nathaniel Adams Coles (born March 17, 1917 in Montgomery, AL) was first and foremost a jazz pianist. His influence on the likes of Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson was profound. In 1941, when Cole began exploring his vocal abilities, the hits started coming and never stopped. This compilation of original recordings showcases twelve of his most romantic and endearing recordings.
