Review

Taken from the influential electronica act's 2003 album 'Closer'. The title track 'Disconnect' (Edit non-LP) is backed with two other non-LP tracks, 'Headcase', & 'Digital/Divide' (non-LP). Digipak. Novamute."disconnect" is Probably the Most Accessible Moment from the Album "Closer", but It's Still No Walk in the Park! a Deep Analogue Bassline Stalks a Lone, Haunted 303 Through the Track, Over Some Typically Minimal Beats. The Single also features the Ten Minute Sprawl of "Headcase", a Schizophrenic Masterpiece with Highlights Plastikman's Place Amongst the Last Few Years' Wave of 'glitch' Artists. Finally, "Digital/Divide" is Included - a Track Exclusive to the Single and Not Featured on the Album. It's Another Long One, Again Weighing in at Over Ten Minutes, and Once Again It's a Dysfunctional, Indecisive Sounding Piece of Music.
