Review

Bookmarks is a wonderful album that flows well from beginning to end. There are shades of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty & Ryan Adams, to name a few, both in the lyrics & the music, but with Roddy's own style glazed nicely over the top. His guitar, piano and harmonica-driven lyrical reflections impact on all who hear them and have subsequently earned him much respect from fans and critics alike. The album features guest performances from Kris Kristofferson, Eddi Reader and The Trashcan Sinatras.
