Review

Often compared to everyone from The Soft Boys, to XTC, to popier Pere Ubu stuff, to Wire (maybe...if they only ever released one single with "Outdoor Miner" b/w "Map Ref..."). Smart pop with no pretense, great lyrics with a slightly absurdist leaning (see Soft Boys reference), and a live show that will bring you to your knees. The Slow Jets are masters of melody and harmony - showing you their ability to craft a complex hook, then break into a jangly instrumental part that's equally complex and just as stirring.
