Review

1981 album featuring 12 tracks. Highlights include, 'Runaway Boys', 'Fishnet Stockings', 'Ubangi Stomp', 'Jeannie, Jeannie, Jeannie' & 'Storm the Embassy'.The Original Classic Album that Started a Rockabilly Revolution. Our Protagonists from New York Crossed the Pond to Merry Ole England to Generate a Buzz in the Clubs Suffering from the Malaise of Punk and in the Throes of a Ska Revival. So Why Not Original American Rock N Roll? Instead of the Brits Nicking it and Selling Back to the Us, the Us Went to the Brits who Still Sold it Back to the Us in Turn, as this Album was Popular in the UK in 1980 and an American Recording Didn't Appear Til 1982. Dave Edmunds was a Natural Fit as Producer and the Trio Took the Isle by Storm. Here was Old Style Rock with a Punk Sensibility. The Rest is History. This Original Album Includes "Storm the Embassy", a Political Sign of the Times and "Ubangi Stomp" and "Crawl Up and Die".
