Richmond, Virginia's Strike Anywhere (Jade Tree Records) delivers melodic hardcore with punk rock soul. With smiles, shouts, and sweat for the dance floor, a positive backdrop unfolds for the revolutionary message and heartfelt vocals on Strike Anywhere's debut full-length Change is a Sound. The 5 members of Strike Anywhere embody different aspects of the various counterculture threads found in the hardcore/punk-rock community. Change is a Sound was recorded with Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Snapcase, The Explosion, Cave In) at Salad Days Studios in April of 2001.
