Tara Jane O'Neil is a US singer-songwriter with three previous albums, two on Touch & Go's Quarterstick (Calexico & Rachel's). She previously played with early post-rock pioneers Rodan, contemporaries of Slint (both from the burgeoning Louisville, Kentucky scene), plus Restin, Come & the Sonora Pine. 'Bones' features tracks spanning ruminative, hypnotic instrumentals to subdued, enigmatic post-folk, vocals floating in airy layers of guitar, strings & piano. Two tracks featured come from 2003 minor-release 7 inch & one from O'Neil's Japan-only art book (which featured a bonus three inch CD). 12 tracks packaged in a miniature LP gatefold sleeve. Preservation. 2004."bones" features Tracks Spanning Ruminative, Hypnotic Instrumentals to Subdued, Enigmatic Post-folk, Vocals Floating in Airy Layers of Guitar, Strings and Piano. Two Tracks Featured Come from 2003 Minor-release 7", One from O'neil's Japan-only Art Book (Which Featured a Bonus 3" CD).
