This, the second in a series of single CD 'best of' compilations featuring the most popular artists in the Trojan catalogue, brings together 25 of Perry's Upsetters' instrumentals from the pre-Black Ark period. Included are the group's two UK chart hits from 1969, along with well-known & rare sides from the late 60s & early 70s. The compilation provides an ideal over-view of the Upsetter sound, from the late Rocksteady period through to his ground-breaking Reggae sides that first gave an indication of his immense talents as a producer. 2002.
