Still Waters Run Deep, Wendy's debut album, is a country gospel project with a warm, intimate quality. These songs range from the bluesy feel of Someday You'll Know and the title song, Still Waters Run Deep, to a country ballad like Time & Time Again, to a touching lullaby like Morning Light. This project continues to receive widespread airplay years after its release in 1996. This is the impressive first effort by an artist who is now a top ten country gospel artist, and whose talent has taken her to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
