Review

Precious Lord, cut in Nashville with predominantly country musicians, won the 1982 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. And 1983's Memphis-made I'll Rise Again still stands as perhaps Green's greatest Gospel music achievement to date. Both albums make their CD debut in an attractive package with a sleevenote by Blues and Soul Magazine writer Tony Rounce. Cream/Hi Records. 2002.It's the First Time on CD for Two of Rev. Green's Gospel Classics. 1982's "Precious Lord" Won the Grammy for Best Gospel Album and 1983's "i'll Rise Again" is One of Green Greatest Gospel Achievements and Met with Universal Praise.
