Review

Like Ritchie Valens, Latino-rocker Romero was a hip-shakin' rebel-rouser who felt just as comfortable singing a heartfelt ballad. The title track ('Hippy Hippy Shake') of this compilation had its biggest influence across on the UK's Swinging Blue Jeans, who scored a Top Five smash with it. Del-Fi Records.
